Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with no suspect carpets, just clean faux hardwood. The hotel offers rooms with private bathrooms that come with convenient amenities like a fridge, microwave, and TV. However, the rooms are on the smaller side yet cozy. The value for the price paid was fair.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the Squamish town center, close to all amenities and ideal for exploring the area. The rooms, although lacking air conditioning, are in good shape and provide a basic but clean space. The service, including housekeeping and laundry, is efficient. However, being across from a noisy bar can be a downside for light sleepers.
The hotel was really noisy due to being close to the bar downstairs, which was quite disappointing since it was advertised as not above or affected by the bar. On the positive side, the hotel offers onsite dining options.
The hotel is conveniently located near various amenities, but the immediate surroundings are a bit daunting. The rooms are simple yet clean and well-maintained, although lacking air conditioning. The service is efficient, particularly in housekeeping and laundry. Dining options include delightful homemade cakes, and the facilities are satisfactory.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room had a beautiful view of the chief with fresh snow, but it was basic, clean, and in good shape. Unfortunately, the room was cold and never warmed up during my stay, and there was a noticeable smell. The hotel's location was perfect for my ferry ride to Vancouver Island, being right in Squamish town center surrounded by stunning mountains. The proximity to the main street and local amenities made it very convenient, but when stuck due to snow, there wasn't much to do in the immediate area. The service at the hotel was good, covering housekeeping and laundry, although with some room for improvement. The local cafes provided a nice dining option, but I found the vegan pizza to be lacking. Overall, the facilities were sufficient, offering what I needed for my short stay. The price seemed fair for what was provided.
Arriving late, I was pleased with the nice room and great view, although it was a bit noisy due to the vents from the restaurant below. I loved the variety of pillow styles provided, not just the typical overstuffed ones.
